Makari Fat Bike Tour to discover the Macari coast by e-bike

The tour will last about 3 hours, with departure scheduled at 8.30 and return at 12. During the beautiful excursion, between one ride and another, you will have time to take a refreshing stop for a swim, and at the end of this walk, you will find a tasty aperitif waiting for you to regenerate after the ride.

The first stop we will visit will be the suggestive Caletta Bue Marino, which opens its view on the fantastic coast of Macari, a few kilometers from the center of the town of San Vito lo Capo. One coast rocky hug protects this corner of the beach of pebbles well polished by time, which without any fear extend along the entire stretch of coast reaching its seabed. The waters that bathe the cove are azure, blue and turquoise, clear and crystalline, perfect for snorkeling and discovering the lives of the inhabitants of the sea.

The stage that follows after this natural paradise will be the unsurpassed Baia Santa Margherita, underestimated by many and highly appreciated by many others. Like the main beach of San Vito, this corner of Macari offers a wide expanse of sand fine and golden, with waters brilliants that cross all shades of blue. On crowded days in the town, especially in August, you can come and look for a moment of peace on this less busy beach, being amazed by the picture Mediterranean in which it is perfectly set.

The third stop ready to welcome us will be the Lido Acqua Azzurra, which like the Santa Margherita Bay, as its neighbor, proposes the same sand that reflects the sun's rays on the water crystalline. A swim immersed in the beautiful reserve of Monte Hood that offers you the opportunity to savor a moment of peace in nature untouched.

Last but not least, the beautiful Riserva di Cofano follows, a corner of Sicily where sound of the nature is the only one that invades the territory and the only shade you will find will be given by the trees of the reserve. The large rocks that surround it and the small palm trees typical dwarfs of the maquis Mediterranean make it one of the most evocative and unforgettable excursions. You will be able to lose yourself in the sight of the waters in the colors of azure and deep blue, contrasting the dark colors of its spiers limestone that set it between the Gulf from Castelluzzo and the Gulf from Bonagia.
